As you've probably already concluded, I love photography. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by photos, and as an early teen I started making scrapbooks so I could keep and display my favorites forever. When I bought my first digital SLR in my late 20's, my love became serious. As I was pursuing my certificate in graphic design, I began to study the more technical side of photography, and before I knew it, Jennifer Fluharty Photography was born.

My super-supportive, computer-geek husband keeps my web site running and keeps me sane, while my precious 7 year old daughter lets me use her as my "model" to experiment with fun new ways to shoot.

When we're not working on the photography side of things, you can usually find us playing on our Wii (I play a mean Rock Band guitar!) or hanging out together at home or a nearby park (Frisbee, anyone?). I love to cook and travel, but most of all I love being with my family.

I despise bananas.
I watch way too much reality TV.
I'm a Scorpio, and I have no idea what that means.
I sleep with about a million pillows.
I sometimes exaggerate.
I cry when I watch people win game shows.
I hate having my picture taken.

Most of all, I love taking photos that make people smile. I love creating unique lifestyle portraits that capture people in their best light -- the way they want to be remembered.
